Ever since my grandmother taught me how to sew and embroider at the young age of four, It became a dream of mine to create my own line. After attending FIT I had strayed away from this dream for a while. Yet there was always an urge to draw, sew, and work in fashion. It wasn't until late in 2022 that I was able to leave my safe, salaried, 9-5 job and pursue my dreams. As chilling as that was I still feel the butterflies of excitement today. The inspiration for Shells and Roses came from traveling to my favorite beach towns. The happiness and easy going beach lifestyle is what I wanted to carry through into every piece I now hand make out of Montauk. I hope that's what you feel when you wear them.
